While studying abroad in London, the final portfolio project for my Principles of Marketing course was a marketing plan for a luxury London hotel. I chose to complete my report on the Sanctum Soho Hotel, a relatively new London hotel that had become a hot-spot for A-List celebrities. I worked closely with Santum's marketing department to create my marketing plan, honing in on the target audience and how to market the amenities offered. I found this project to be very challenging, though also very rewarding as it was an excellent way to obtain first-hand marketing experience.
